I don't just solve problems; I map them. By combining aerospace quality experience, systems thinking, and AI, I build tools that prevent errors, simplify complexity, and transform recurring bottlenecks into repeatable solutions.
I'm Abdullah Cali.
By trade, I work in aerospace quality. My role is to verify that parts conform to drawing and specification, witness critical tests, review concessions, and ensure hardware meets the standards required before it moves forward.
But what fascinates me isn't the paperwork or the inspection itself. It's the systems behind it.
I have a habit of seeing patterns where others see isolated tasks. When a process breaks, I want to understand why. When a bottleneck appears, I want to map it. When something is repeated enough times, I start asking whether it should be automated.
That curiosity led me beyond inspection and into systems design, AI, and software development. I build tools that reduce friction, improve traceability, and help prevent problems before they happen. Not because I set out to become a developer, but because building often turned out to be the fastest way to solve the problems I encountered.
This site is a living record of that journey—my work, projects, ideas, and the systems I'm building along the way.
My goal is simple: find bottlenecks and build solutions.
Most of the projects on this page started the same way—a repetitive task, a recurring failure mode, a slow process, or information trapped in the wrong place. I break the problem down, map the system around it, identify the constraint, and build a solution.
Some solutions remain simple tools. Others evolve into larger systems. But they all begin with the same question:
"What's slowing everything down, and how do we fix it?"
The projects below are the result: tools, workflows, and experiments designed to reduce friction, improve quality, and turn recurring problems into repeatable systems.
FAIR reviews are critical, but they are often slow, repetitive, and dependent on manual verification. The FAIR Checker was built to automate the validation of AS9102 First Article Inspection Reports, identifying missing characteristics, ballooning mismatches, incomplete fields, and documentation errors before sign-off.
What previously required hours of manual review can now be verified in minutes through a structured validation process designed around real aerospace quality workflows.
Concession management often lives across emails, spreadsheets, shared folders, and disconnected systems. The Concession Tracking Platform was built to provide a single source of truth for supplier deviation requests—tracking each concession from submission through review, approval, and closure.
Designed to improve visibility, traceability, and accountability, the platform gives quality and supply-chain teams a clear view of status, ownership, approvals, and historical decisions throughout the entire concession lifecycle.
Most quality systems assume constant cloud connectivity. This project takes the opposite approach.
The Offline Quality ERP is a local-first quality platform designed for aerospace and other regulated industries where security, control, and data ownership matter. It brings NCRs, FAIRs, concessions, supplier records, and quality workflows into a single offline environment that operates independently of cloud infrastructure.
Built for secure production environments, the system provides a centralized quality backbone while maintaining complete control over sensitive operational data.
An offline system is only valuable if it can exchange information safely.
The Aerospace Quality Protocol (AQP) is a structured data-exchange framework designed to connect isolated quality systems without requiring direct network access. It enables quality records, supplier information, NCRs, FAIRs, concessions, and other controlled data to move between organizations while preserving integrity, traceability, and validation.
Every data package is verified on import, allowing systems to stay synchronized without exposing the underlying ERP to external networks.
The same approach applied to different industries and challenges.
Different problems. Different users. Same process: understand the system, identify the bottleneck, and build the solution.
Sometimes luggage decides to continue the journey on its own.
The Luggage Buddy is a recovery system designed to help lost luggage find its way back to its owner. By creating a direct link between travelers and their belongings, the system simplifies identification and recovery when bags become separated during transit.
The goal is simple: reduce the time, uncertainty, and frustration involved in reuniting travelers with their luggage.
I specialize in finding bottlenecks.
I look for repetitive work, hidden constraints, and failure points that limit performance. Once I understand the system, I build solutions that simplify complexity, remove friction, and improve the way people work.
Different industries have different problems. The process stays the same: find the bottleneck, understand the system, build the solution.
Automated validation of First Article Inspection Reports and inspection data. Designed to identify missing characteristics, documentation gaps, and compliance issues before sign-off.
AI-powered pipelines that transform drawings, reports, certificates, and PDFs into structured, searchable, and actionable data.
Platforms for concessions, non-conformances, approvals, and quality workflows. Built to centralize information, improve visibility, and maintain traceability.
Tools designed to identify recurring failure modes, trends, bottlenecks, and process weaknesses hidden within quality data.
Hands-on supplier surveillance, conformance verification, FAIR review, and quality oversight across civil and defense aerospace programs.
Mapping complex workflows, identifying constraints, and designing practical solutions that reduce friction, improve reliability, and scale with the business.
A CV lists what I've done.
This is how I think.
I start with a bottleneck, map the system around it, identify the constraint, and build a solution. What follows is the process behind the tools, workflows, and systems on this page.
I spend most of my time finding bottlenecks, understanding systems, and building solutions.
If you're working on a difficult problem in aerospace, quality, AI, automation, or operations, there's a good chance we'll have something to talk about.
